Artistic Statement
I was born in Jerusalem, a city where nature and architecture blend. My career began in dance, a language through which I explored movement, space, and time. Dance became a powerful tool for shaping living spaces. Over the years, my passion for painting emerged as another cornerstone of my creative journey, enabling me to examine the relationship between details and the whole. I challenge myself to uncover numerous elements that together form a singular focal point. My works are designed to invite viewers to revisit them repeatedly each time discovering a new detail or seeing the whole from a fresh perspective. For me, designing for the body is an extension of these ideas. It is not a flat canvas but a search for directions of growth like feathers emerging from the body and merging into fabric, creating a "second skin." The fabric becomes an inseparable part of the body, complementing its movement. I see the human body as a dynamic platform where material, motion, and form converge into a living creation. My inspiration is drawn from nature and the textures around me. Growing up in Jerusalem, the untamed landscapes and surrounding architecture shaped my worldview. Memories like visiting a mysterious structure on a steep hill, with hidden gardens, pools, and waterfowl, taught me to seek what is not immediately visible. I believe that art is a continuous process of discovery. Whether on stage, on canvas, or in fabric, every creation aspires to explore the relationships between the elements that compose it. My goal is to create a dynamic experience that transcends boundaries, unifying all the worlds in which I work. Together, they form a rich, unique cosmos that invites the viewer to become a part of it, time and time again.
